Ginger Cookies

1/2 c. Butter

1/2 c. Sugar

1/2 c. Brer Rabbit (light or Dark)

1/4 c. Water

2 1/2 c. Flour

3/4 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Soda

3/4 tsp. Ginger

1/4 tsp Nutmeg

1/8 tsp. Allspice

Cream Butter & Sugar. Blend in the rest, cover, chill 2-3 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Roll dough 1/4 inches thick. Cut into shapes. Place on ungreased sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove, cool, decorate. Makes 15 - 4" cookies.
